Step 1: Active Your PDFCreator 2012

Click on "Register" button located on the left-bottom of PDFCreator 2012 Main Dialog.

You will now see the Register screen. If you have not registered PDFCreator 2012 please click here.

- Copy and Paste your Serial Number into the registration textbox fields.
- Ensure that all information is to the far left of the textbox fields and no blank spaces to the left before clicking the "Active Now" button.
Step 2: Create a PDF
- Open a printable document such as Microsoft Word document file is the first task you should to do.

From the printable document, choose File -> Print. Select the PDFCreator 2012 printer from the list of available printers and click OK.

The PDFCreator 2012 window appears. By default, after you clicked the "Create PDF" button, you will be asked for where to save the PDF file and the PDF file name. And after finishing the creation, the PDF file will be opened by the default PDF viewer. You can also set other PDFCreator 2012 options at this time. See PDFCreator 2012 Advanced Options for details.

You can also select a specific folder to save the PDF file, and choose to email the PDF file after finished or do nothing.

Step 3: PDFCreator 2012 Advanced Options

You can select PDF Output Optimization option. PDFCreator 2012 includes five PDF output options, you can use these options to make PDF files for online viewing, eBooks, office printing, prepress and so on.

You can add document information(title, author, subject, keywords) in the Document Properties dialog.

You can secure PDF with a password(user, owner), and set PDF permissions(copy, edit, etc.) in the PDF Security dialog.

You can also specific the PDF compatibility: 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5.
