How to Use PDF2CHM - Step by Step Help for You to Convert PDF to CHM

Click on "Register" button located on the right of every PDF2CHM's Ribbon Category.
You will now see the Register screen. If you have not registered PDF2CHM please click here.
Copy and Paste your Serial Number into the registration textbox fields.
Ensure that all information is to the far left of the textbox fields and no blank spaces to the left before clicking the "Active" button.

Click "Home" category tab on the top to show the main functions. Open a PDF file is the first task you should to do.
Click "Open PDF" button(Orange highlighted button in the below image) to show the PDF file open dialog(shown in Figure 1), then select a Word document and click Open button. The the PDF2CHM Conversion Wizard will be shown(see Figure 2). All the PDF Bookmarks(or the page number) in the PDF file will be added to the Content Tree(see Figure 3).

Follow the PDF2CHM Conversion Wizard 5 steps, and set some conversion preferences, then at the last step you need click Convert button(see Figure 3). You will see the Conversion Progress dialog(see Figure 4). Wait a moment, PDF2CHM will convert your PDF file to html files by PDF bookmarks(or page number). After this, all the PDF bookmarks(or the page number) in the PDF file will be added to the Content Tree (see Figure 5).

After all the topics in PDF file are added, you must select the topics which you want to convert to CHM.
Left click the CheckBox in the left of a topic item to select, or use the advanced select operation in the Home category tab.

Click "Compile CHM" button(Orange highlighted button in the below image) to create your chm file.
You can see a compiling process dialog as below,

and then the result CHM file will be opened.
